…frequently asked questions -and answers! Take extra care – use Epicare™
Here are a few recent questions relating to Epicare™ - together with our response:-
How does it work?
It’s very simple. The threader is bent into a sort of inverted ‘U’ shape and you then rotate the handles, rolling the threader over the selected area. The precision coiled spring mechanism removes the unwanted hair.
Can Epicare™ be used on all parts of the body?
No. Only use Epicare™ in the areas of the upper lip, chin, cheeks and neck. *Not eyebrows etc; or any areas not specified.
Could there be an allergic reaction and/or skin irritation?
Sensitive skin will see slight redness but this will fade. Otherwise, Epicare™ is safe and natural and if, in the past, you have used tweezers satisfactorily, you won’t experience any problems.
Can I use Epicare™ regularly?
Yes. Depending on requirements, you might, reasonably, expect to use Epicare™ for short periods every 1-4 weeks.
Will hair re-growth be quicker and coaser?
Yes. Depending on requirements, you might, reasonably, expect to use Epicare™ for short periods every 1-4 weeks.
How is tanned skin affected?
It isn’t and you will find Epicare™ to be far more effective than, say, waxing, depilatories, tweezing or laser hair removal. All these can cause skin pigmentation – unlike Epicare™.
How is thin skin affected?
If skin is thin, due, perhaps, to medication – there isn’t a problem. Because Epicare™ only removes hair from the root, the layers of skin are unaffected.
How do I clean and maintain my Epicare™?
Bend the inverted Epicare ‘U’ and shake off any trapped hair, wipe with a dry tissue or cloth (*don’t use water and use only on clean, dry skin – Epicare™ is not waterproof). You don’t need to buy replacement parts and if treated properly, your Epicare™ should last between 6 and 12 months.
